Job description

We’re currently seeking a passionate freelance Software Tester to join our forthcoming projects. As a freelancer cooperating with intent, you'll have the chance to work on diverse IoT projects, contributing your expertise to our team. At the moment, there are no ongoing projects, but we eagerly await upcoming opportunities.


intent has over 10+ years of experience in helping to conceptualize, design, and build apps for IoT and connected devices. We're a software house that acts as a specialized think partner for products at the intersection of physical and digital (like wearables and IoT) - from net-new to products looking to enter a competitive and established niche. Some of our clients include Oura, BOSE, and McIntosh audio systems.


💎 Requirements: 1+ years of professional experience as a Software Tester and at least B2 English skills (both written and spoken).

💰 Salary: 10k-13k PLN on B2B

What you'll do:
  • Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Performing manual testing of mobile and web applications.
  • Performing regression testing. 
  • Performing black/white box testing.
  • Estimating your work.
  • Participating in the requirement discussion meetings and daily calls, providing feedback on inconsistencies and open issues.
  • Taking part in knowledge sharing with other tech freaks.


Recruitment process:
  1. A screening call with an HR person (about 45 mins).
  2. A technical interview (60-90 mins).
  3. Final feedback received within a week after the interview.

Job requirements

What we expect:

  • At least 1.5 years of professional experience as a software tester.

  • Experience with test case management tools (e.g. TestRail, Qase) and Atlassian tools.

  • Solid knowledge in the field of software quality assurance.

  • At least B2 English skills (both written and spoken).

  • Out-of-the-box thinking and creativity (we care about your problem-solving skills).

  • Precision, curiosity, perceptiveness, patience.

  • Self-reliance, responsibility for assigned tasks, and effective time management.

  • Engagement and team-play.

It’d be nice if you have:

  • Experience in projects involving physical devices (e.g. wearables).

  • Practice in API testing (Postman, CURL or other)

  • Experience with web apps testing and web-debugging proxy tools (e.g. Charles, Proxyman, Browserstack).

  • ISTQB Foundation (or higher) certificate.

  • Experience in working in Agile or Scrum environments.
